Selenite is used to clear what is laid on it. Bracelets, rings, and small crystals left on the plate overnight are treated as rinsed of the day and ready again by morning. Practitioners also count it among the few stones that do not ask to be cleared themselves. A long plate gives that clearing a surface, not a bowl.

Copper is set into the border as a conductor, meant to carry the clearing around the rectangle so the pieces in the middle are not doing the work alone. The frame is a line you can see. In practice it marks the field where jewelry and stones sit to be cleared together.

The plate is about 8 inches by 3.5 inches. Those sizes are approximate. Cut from natural selenite, so the grain, the soft banding, and the translucency change from piece to piece. The copper-colored lines follow the long edges and close at the corners. Flat and long, so a row of bracelets can lie out without stacking. Yours will not look exactly like the photo.

Care

Selenite is soft and dissolves in water. Dust with a dry cloth. Do not soak, rinse, or use salt or an ultrasonic cleaner. Handle gently.
