Selenite is used to clear what it touches. A ring, a chain, or a small crystal left on it overnight is treated as rinsed of the day and ready again by morning. Practitioners also count it among the few stones that do not ask to be cleared themselves. It is kept for a quiet, high clearing, the kind that does not need smoke or salt to do its work.

Copper is set into the rim as a conductor, meant to move that clearing around the disc so the piece in the center is not doing the work alone. The Hamsa, the open hand etched into the face, is a mark of protection and blessing. In practice it is set to turn away what is unwanted and keep what rests there under a quieter watch.
