Lepidolite is a lithium mica — lavender, lilac, sometimes peach or grey — that flakes in thin, shining layers. Used when the mind will not sit down. Heart and crown. People reach for it in anxious weeks, after too much news, or when sleep has gone thin.

The lithium is part of the lore: a mineral associated with evening out the weather inside. It does not amp you up. It turns the volume down so you can hear what is actually going on. Good on a nightstand, in a pocket during travel, or in the hand before a crowded room.
