Scalp Tone is Dr. Ravi Ratan’s scalp-and-crown oil—Ayurvedic herbs first, then woods and flower. Amla, brahmi, bhringraj, and shankhpushpi in the body of the blend. Ylang ylang, rosemary, cedarwood, clary sage, and cade in the air of it. Jojoba, argan, sesame, and vitamin E to carry it to the root.

Warm a little in the palms. Work it into the scalp daily, or at least three times a week. Leave an hour, or overnight, then wash.

• Base: jojoba, argan, sesame, vitamin E
• Use: massage into the roots daily or 3× weekly; leave 1 hour or overnight before shampoo. A few drops of water can help it spread. Early shedding can happen as weak hair releases.
